The 1957 Eldorado Brougham was designed to compete with the Lincoln-Continental Mark II. The production total for this vehicle was 400. This vehicle cost over $25,000 per car to produce, in an era of $5,000 top of the line cars! Selling at $13,000, this vehicle lost $12,000 per car to sell!. The Eldorado Brougham was a hand-built, limited-edition four-door hardtop sedan derived from the Park Avenue and Orleans show cars of 1953-1954.
